We are all bit by the bug of invention from time to time, but most of the ideas are throwaways, e.g. I remember well over a decade ago I used to wonder why I couldn’t just push a volume button on a remote control, then type in a desired volume number. But then there are revolutionary ideas that need to become a reality, and the below stated is one of them.

I have diligently followed the business sides of many companies, (some of which are stated above), for the past 10 years, and I have come to the realization that they all have their own strengths and weaknesses.

With such being said, I always wondered what kind of a corporate hybrid would materialize if someone were to create a business from all of the relevant power aspects of several companies. And I have finally got my answer…

On Kickstarter there is a funding campaign headlined: “A Better Form of Pinterest For Everybody,” {See (search): kickstarter/newpinterest}, and such is practically all of the best parts of the most popular Internet sites combined into one.

A reader could become a bit confused by trying to balance what is written above, with what is written within such a campaign, to fund something that goes way beyond creating “A Better Form of Pinterest.”

The main thing that such a potential business has in common with Pinterest begins and ends with the act of things, items, etc. for placement on pages (boards).

Pinterest is a platform that is known as the place for virtual scrapbooking, and due to such a “labeling” Pinterest doesn’t have a very diversified user base, and absent therefrom are most millennials and most males. And such a lack of diversity is not only negative to Pinterest’s interests, but also to its user’s interests, because more users equals more potential value all the way around the “board.”

The previously named Kickstarter campaign is seeking to create a platform that would be of interest to everyone (young, old, male, and female). But best of all, such a platform in its entirety would give users a revolutionary way to shop.

Due to the protection of intellectual property, not every detail of the business idea can be mentioned. However, I can say that one unmentioned feature would have a positive impact that’s at least 10 times greater than Amazon’s one click purchase button when it was released.

It’s hard to describe how revolutionary such a feature would be to e-commerce, but to put it in comic book language, it would be like creating a superhero that combines the powers of Superman, Spiderman, Batman, Wolverine, and The Hulk. Would you not check out such a hybrid superhero if you were into comic books? If so, check out such a campaign, (Kickstarter/New Pinterest), because such a campaign is seeking to empower the consumer.

Too many platform sellout to advertisers by “bargaining away” users information in order to push targeted ads on them, because they aren’t creative enough to create features and tools to bridge the interest gap that travels between companies and potential consumers without being intrusive, etc.

On the contrary, the business model that is the foundation of such a campaign, is the beginning of the end for intrusive ads.

People should fund the campaign, not in search of immediate payback (perks), people should fund such a campaign because of all the things that they’d receive in return in the near and midterm future, such as: Not having to worry about being bombarded with intrusive ads, being able to save money, and so much more.

Any investment into such a Kickstarter campaign is truly an investment toward a better future. Therefore, any donation or investment that you can make toward such will make a positive impact on the future of e-commerce and the Internet as a whole.
