I hate it when too much ice melts into a cup of soda, and I know I’m not the only one, because I doubt many people have a preferred taste for watered downed soda.

How hard would it actually be to create a cup that separates the ice from the soda, while simultaneously keeping the drink chilled?

It wouldn’t cost too much money to make such a cup Therefore; I’m surprised that no company has been the first to create such a perfect drinking cup.

Off the top of my mind I can envision different ways in which such a cup would look like in its final phase. Can’t you? Think about it before you read any further.

I would imagine that the separation area, in which the ice would be located, would have to be located in the center area of the lid.

Thinking about all of the viable materials that could be used… I would suspect the most viable material to use, would be a thin, flexible, and durable plastic.

I would have to sit back for a while to think through the perfect finished product. Therefore, I will cease to presents my thoughts about the cup design.

Well, I’m pretty convinced that fast food restaurants could do their customers a lot of good, if they’d start serving customers drinks that won’t spoil after the ice melts.

Corporations spend billions of dollars every year in advertising expenses, and a lot of such money goes towards financing ad projects that don’t touch the mental chords of the general public – especially win a time with such high unemployment rates.

With the above stated in mind, I’ve thought up a relevant way for corporations to use a portion of their ad budgets to hire individuals who are desperately in need of a job, and gain positive brand awareness. And that is to hire corporate mascots in every city.

For some companies such a strategy would be easy to bring into existence, since some companies already have a mascot that promotes their products and /or services… a duck is a mascot for what company? What about the gecko? Correct, yet, some companies lack a mascot. Who is or what is the mascot for Wawa, Microsoft, Facebook, Apple, Amazon, or Macy’s? By the way, an apple with a bite in it isn’t a mascot, but seriously.

For the corporations that lack an official mascot, they can create a website, for individuals to submit drawings that depict what the corporation’s mascot would look like.

Visitors to such a website would be able to vote on the best custom design for the corporate mascot, and the design with the most votes would be selected as the official corporate mascot. And since such would be spurred on by way of competition, the submitter of the winning design would win a prize.

After the mascot design is selected, visitors to the website would be able to submit potential names for the mascot, and other visitors would be able to vote on which they believed was the best name. The winning submission would become the mascots name, and the person who submitted the winning name would win a prize.

After the mascot is created, the corporation would be able to utilize such a character in several ways. The most obvious way is to use the mascot in print ads and commercials. Yet, the most meaningful way to use such a corporate mascot would be to hire individuals in every state to wear the mascot costume while handing out coupons, giving out samples, demonstrating how products work, and so on.

Ronald McDonald is in many ways the face of McDonald’s corporation. However, McDonald’s never continually pushed Ronald McDonald into the public spot light enough. Yet, when you’re the only fast food company with a memorable mascot and a comfortable number one position, I guess it’s okay for your mascot to go on vacation from time to time.
